I’m Justin Ahern the founder and managing director of Pharma Quality Partners Ltd. I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself and what this company is all about.

My own drive for quality excellence is built on near to two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In various roles from R&D Chemist to Head of Quality/Senior Management positions I have gained substantial and broad experience ranging across solid dose drug product, non-sterile liquids creams and ointment drug product, biological drug product and the API pharmaceutical industry sectors.

My career has forged a solid skillset in areas such as Qualified Person services, GxP and QA Training, International Quality Auditing, Pharmaceutical Quality Systems compliance, Continuous Improvement and Regulatory consultancy services.
Having worked extensively at committee level within the industry through groups such as the PQG and on specific working groups within PQG, IPEC, and PAGB I’ve been at the forefront of developing and authoring guidance publications in areas such as supply chain risk management, excipients risk management and QP working practises.
As a fully practising Qualified Person with over 6 years on the job experience I also now serve as a QP Assessor with the Royal Society of Chemistry, examining new QP candidates entering the profession. My passion for the development of the profession keeps me actively engaged in areas of QP sponsorship, QP training and mentoring.
